Bookkeeping and Accounting
We can relieve you and your staff of an enormous burden by taking care of all your bookkeeping and accounting needs, including the preparation of your annual accounts. The work can be undertaken at your premises on your computer systems, at your premises using our laptops and our computer software, or totally at our premises.
For some clients we run a daily bookkeeping service from our offices, whilst for others we make regular weekly, monthly or quarterly visits as necessary to keep the records, produce management accounts and complete VAT returns.
For some clients we simply undertake a recording process whereby our experienced staff record the transactions that have taken place. For other businesses all bookkeeping and accounting functions are undertaken by our staff, whether it be raising invoices or writing cheques.
IT Services
Computers and the Internet have become an integral part of the business world.
We help clients choose appropriate systems for their business, propose hardware and software, and assist with both Internet based systems and in-house set-ups.
Where appropriate, our staff can support and run clients' systems for them.
Human Resources
The human resources function is becoming ever more critical due to the expanding volume of employment legislation.
Working closely with employment lawyers we can assist clients with their human resources functions, or they may even decide to outsource them totally to us.

- Provision of appropriate documentation, such as employment contracts and admin manuals

- Maintenance of holiday data, sickness date etc.

Payroll
Administering your payroll can be time-consuming and burdensome. The task is made all the more difficult by the growing complexity of taxation and employment legislation, and the accompanying regime of penalties for non-compliance.
Woolford & Co. has gained a SAS70 Certifications for its payroll services.
We have dedicated staff who can relieve you of this burden by providing a comprehensive and confidential payroll service, including:
- Calculating weekly and monthly salaries
- Production of payslips in confidential envelopes
- Administration of PAYE and national insurance, statutory sick pay, statutory maternity pay etc
- Completion of statutory forms, including year end returns, to be issued to your employees and submitted to the Inland Revenue
- Summaries and analyses of staff costs
- Administration of incentive scheme, bonuses and ex gratia termination payments
- Administration of payments to pension schemes
