About UsWoolford & Co. Chartered Accountants is registered to conduct audit work and is regulated for a range of investment business activities by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Woolford & Co. has three offices in:
- Esher, Surrey. Conveniently located close to London, with easy access to Heathrow and Gatwick airports
- St. Peter Port, Guernsey
- Douglas, Isle of Man
In each location Woolford & Co. shares its office with Dixcart, the international professional financial services organisation with whom it works closely, assisting international businesses and individuals investing and trading outside of their normal country of residence.
Also sharing the Esher office are Morgan Russell, lawyers, who work closely with Woolford & Co. on many client matters. This business resource centre approach means that many professional services for the business can be provided from one location by experts who are used to working together. This is of particular advantage when dealing with international matters where clients may have no knowledge of other UK professionals. This approach is also appreciated and used more and more by our UK clients, who recognise the efficiencies of having their professional advisers in one location. However, all clients are obviously free to choose as many or as few of our services as they require.
We aim to provide the most comprehensive professional service possible from each of our offices, and also recognise that we are often the most appropriate people to organise alternative services for our clients. Such services are often required by international clients who, because they are living in a country that is not their usual country of residence, do not know their way around.
Examples of questions we have been asked, and have been able to assist with, include:
- How do I find a house to buy?
- How do I buy an office building?
- I have spare space in my office building. How do I find tenants?
- My shower is leaking. How do I find a plumber?
- How do I buy a pedigree dog and send it to my family in Asia?
- How do I organise a funeral?
